3. Identify the major transportation, energy, and water infrastructure priorities in the Texas Triangle megaregion that may qualify as issues of national significance.
4. Find common ground among metropolitan regions in the Texas Triangle on programs and policies that would help regions meet their core infrastructure challenges.
5. Get feedback on draft national policy recommendations in the areas of transportation, energy, and water, which will be presented at the forum.
6. Explore emerging economic strategies for sustainable prosperity in metro regions.
7. Build the framework to create a vision for sustainable prosperity in the Triangle.

About America 2050
America 2050 is a national initiative to develop a framework for America’s growth and development in the face of rapid population growth, demographic change, and infrastructure needs in the 21st century. A major focus of America 2050 is the emergence of megaregions – large networks of metropolitan areas, where most of the projected population growth by mid-century will take place – and how to organize governance, infrastructure investments, and land use planning at this new urban scale. America 2050 is an initiative of the Regional Plan Association and the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy.
